Hi all,
Recently I replaced wipers/washer switch, mainly as I needed to put a new rubber bladder - the old one was cracked and leaking, and I needed to figure out how to connect it. Somehow I always imagined pumps having inlet and outlet connections, which is not the case for this one - there is a single connection for that one. I couldn’t find something definitive on Samba, so here is how I solved it, it is quite trivial once you figure it out.
What’s needed: 2 standard one way valves and a T-joint. The valves I got were fairly heavy to blow through, so I removed the inner spring – still everything works as it should and doesn't leak.
That's how it all sits together. Note that one-way valves only allow water to flow in one direction.
Cheers,
