| i have just put a 010 automatic transmission in a berry mini-t roadster it,s a 1970 bug that is shortened 14 inches was a fun job but now after getting the swifter hooked up i,m confronted with hooking up the trans kick-down linkage can someone tell me if the kick-down effect,s the shifting or is it just for kicking down into passing gear or is it really needed , i,m running a empi progressive carb |

| It needs to hooked to control the shift points for these trans don't have a vacuum modulator for that function |
