OK.. so I know you're supposed to "tap" the inside grease seal out with a drift, or socket, or something about the size of the seal, but I have the inner bearing still in the hub also.

Is there a circlip in-between the inner bearing and the inner grease seal? Or SOMETHING that's holding this in place?

I only ask because I think I've beaten the absolute heck out of this thing and it hasn't budged. I have replacements, so I don't necessarily need to save them, so any advice on how I can get this out would be greatly appreciated.

Go down to your local auto parts supply and buy a seal remover tool. The seal covers-up the big circlip that's holding in the inner bearing. Once that circlip is out of there, the bearing can be tapped out easily.

Any reason to buy more tools is always welcome.

Thanks.
