I just went thru 77 pages of the Jersey looker thread, 20 minutes of google images, and searched the gallery. I think it was a '56 panel and black in color with "time machine" logos on the sides. Anyone have a pic??? Thanks |

I think I know the bus you speak of. Please don't take this as fact... but my understanding of that bus was that it came out of SW Washington and was sold and shipped to someone on the east coast. I don't know the original owner... but the guy that had it here in the NW before selling... well... he's a bit of recluse. Totally nice person, just likes his privacy. I may have some pics of it. The interior, if I recall correctly, was just as outrageous as the exterior.
I'll take a look and see if I can find some pics. Can't promise anything. |

Just noticed for the first time... that the E on the driver side has some motion lines to give it the appearance of being sucked into the side scoop. |

I think you misinterpreted what I wrote. I don't know the builder of the bus.
The bus has changed hands a few times. The person I know... who did not build the bus... but who had it for a short time before selling it... likes his privacy... and is also a nice chap. Maybe I'm interpreting privacy of reclusivity.
Now that we have that straightened out.
How great is that bus! |

Weird how they smallened the air scoop and largened the gas door: dual tanks? Gnarly nerf-hitch! I can almost hear the air whissing along that wrinkle paint. Baaaaaad to the boooonnnne. |
