Not at this time.
The alerts have to run superfast because they are sent as soon as a new classified is posted. Because of this, I have to keep it simple. |

| On that note, you can search for Hawaii on the Classifieds search screen. Just select nothing except for "Hawaii" in the State drop down box and you will get all the ads in Hawaii, sorted by date. |

That will not work 100% of the time as the alerts does not search the state window. |

Everett
please can the title of the Alert email i receive be changed to be the title of the advert?
(it currently reads 'samba classifieds' or similar)
the reason is i keep some Alert emails, & it would make it easier for me to search the dedicated folder i have set up in Outlook for them (i sometimes look back over old Alerts).....
i think it would provide an improved service
thanks

| It could but I'm not sure if that would mess up any filters people already have set up to put the messages into specific folders in Outlook or other email programs. |

the rule i set for my Alerts is 'if an email comes in from <this> address then put in this folder'
i wouldnt have thought anyone would have set a rule 'if an email comes in with this title than put in this folder'
the KGCNA has an email forum, and richard troy specifically asks titles to be topic related, so that searches are easier
i think it would work well with Alerts - you would be able to delete the ones you dont want straight away too, without having to open/review the content of the email |

I changed it to have a prefix of [TSAlert] sort of like a listserver so people who are not filtering can still do sorting, etc.
So the messages will come through as
[TSAlert] '52 Barndoor Deluxe
[TSAlert] '55 Sunroof Kombi
[TSAlert] Kubelwagen |

Any way to bring back results according to price?
Seeking within a range of $3,000.00 to $10,000.00.
Also interested in limiting the results to vehicles within 250 miles of 18960.
Thank you! |
