While reviewing the paint codes for the seat frame on a 1966 Beetle I noticed that there are tow different paint codes listed for August 1965 up to July 1966. L 43 grey-black and SL 43 grey-black.
Is this possibly a typographical error or are there actually 2 different paint codes? If there are 2 different paint codes, can you tell the difference? |

| i think its more of a typo. i've also seen 2 different codes listed but have been told by the paint shop that the mix was identical. |
