Hey guys, again sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I went to get a carb rebuild kit from oreilly's today and he wasn't able to help me because we couldn't see the numbers on the back of this carb. Could someone tell me what carburetor I have?

Also, the reason I want the kit is because it runs a little rough. I don't know if it is the carb or not but there are certain areas where I hold the throttle the engine pops and crackles. When I am accelerating it runs great! I have adjusted the timing so it isn't that.

Thanks!

might be many things that are wrong, there isant a lot to the kits, mainly you need top gasket& spray the gallys out set flot level.check for vac leeks& other issues.possiably cloged jet.

it is a 44 IDF, or 5% chance 48 IDF

I know because i can see the plug in the passage for divorced idle.

I think Modok is right, but just sneak your camera in there and take a shot of the other side of the carb base to be sure.

The make and series # will be present on the carb body (base) opposite side just above the intake to carb gasket (one side or the other).

Pull the idle jets (4) you likely have 1 plugged. Easy fix.

Daytona Carbs will have kits for that, good quality and reasonable
phone # 386-427-7108. I have gotten Weber and Dellarto kits from them, all the rubber in them will hold up to Whiskey fuel.
