View original topic: I look at this as a compliment to splits

Even though this is a warning sign and the split bus image could be interpreted that VW Buses are common offenders, I think the split bus graphic was used by someone who is either a split bus owner/fan or has a nice imagination.

Seen on the Lower Guadalupe River Trail right by SJC Budget Rental Car entrance.

No dope-headed, thinkin'-they-are-all-too-cool-for-rules, peace-earth-love, wannabe-eco, just-passin'-through, space-case types. Go home, get outa' here!

That's just the most common vehicle found on a pedestrian path by the A.M. crowd. They're simply catering to the specific audience- but with a nice graphic. 8)

Cool!

By now, that sign has probably been stolen by one of us and now resides on their garage wall! I'm tempted, but I'm about eight States away!

I've bypassed security torx on an old license plate frame I had by just using a small screwdriver as a chisel. One good whack with the hammer at the proper angle, viola, regular torx. :D

For this sign, Saw-Z-All is quicker. Just saying...

Sign is in San Jose by the airport. Guadalupe River Trail.

I saw another one today without the warning line through it. I'll take a photo on Monday.

That sign has a bounty on it now, It'll look good in someone's garage!

BarryL Fri May 30, 2014 7:07 pm

Whoever takes it, replace it with a lifted, tinted, Escalade with 34" wagon-spokes and gold bling.

Oh, and park on the trail while you do the kype.

Yet another example for why the bus "bubble" will never burst. These things are too iconic. What other 50 plus year old vehicle still ends up on road signs?
