Is there a way to wire in an electric fuel pump that is relatively simple? Or is it easier to just wire one in on its own, apart from any existing wiring? Thanks It depends on whether your going carbs or fuel injection. Some of the injections systems use a relay to control the pump. On carb set ups, you'll be better off doing a seperate harness, and incorperate an impact switch (like this one from Summit (SUM-890145)), so that the pump shuts off in the case of an accident.
