2332 engine 84 stroke 94 pistons, clearanced WebCam 86c with 1:4-1 Pauter roller rockers...will the pistons need to be clearanced to avoid hitting the valves? If so, as I understand the process...will the machining the piston heads alter combustion, 10:1cr? cam w/1:1 rockers, .585" Valve Lift with 1.5 Rockers, can't find specs with 1:4s.

Edited to clarify...not alter the cr, but the full power of the combustion process.

Thank you for any information.

What kinda pistons and con rods are you gonna use? Thats pretty much the engine i have. As far as the specs with the 1.4 rockers ....you'll be at .546. Nice combo, biased of course!

Actually, that has little to do with it, but cam duration does. You probably won't have a problem as you won't need much of a flycut to get 10:1 CR with that displacement, but it is always wise to check any engine with clay.

yest it should work, and probably around 62-64 cc chambers.but all clearances should be checked when building any motor.

I just built a 2276 with an xr310, .581 lift, 5.394 rods and 44x37 wedgeports. With a 55cc chamber and a .047 deck the intake valves were very close. Fortunately with a HUGE intake port you can actually SEE  this relationship during assembly. Definitely check it and be cautious during initial valve geometry setup and rocker install. Big diameter valves get real close.

I had over .125ths left on piston to valve when I checked with my 86c. With that being said, I had to clearance my crank c/w's to clear two lobe events. So check everything.
