View original topic: Crimp clamps for axle boots, where to buy?

Hi all.

I'm looking for these crimp style hose clamps for the swing axle boot.
With interlock if possible, anyone know where to get these?
I find wholesale sites, but I don't need fifty or a hundred.

And do anyone have the the dimensions of the boot in both ends?
Since the crimps don't adjust as adjustable clamps.

I know that adjustable work fine, I just like these more :D

Lots of thanks in advance!
Have a great day

I know Wurth make smaller versions for fuel and vacuum hoses. You might want to search the internet for your local Wurth distributor and see if they have them that big.

I gave up with the crimp type clamps on my Westy and went with the screw type. Reason? If you have a leak after you tighten the crimp type clamps you're screwed because you don't get a second chance.

When I was doing some work on my quad and I got some with CV boots. You might try a motorcycle performance center. I would agree with the previous comment about the screw type. Much easier to deal with.

I bought them at a local Carquest. They were sold individually for about $2.50 each and the store had them in stock. Ask for CV boot clamps. The ones they carried had holes all the way around and could be used on just about any shaft from 25mm up to 120mm or so.

I believe the sizes for swing axle are 90mm and 45mm.
