evening all,
I'm doing a complete overhaul on my 1500S and just found out my parts order has been back ordered because of the piston rings. I don't think I'll have the parts for another 3 weeks but the engine is in parts in my garage. (Block is opened, crank and cam in bins) I'm concerned because of heavy rains recently and high humidity that I may start getting surface rust on the exposed metal. Should I spray them down with something to prevent this?
Thanks |

Yes, regular motor oil should be fine. |

But...no kidding....that new WD-40 long term preservative spray is awesome for this. Ray |

x2 with KT, either use a cheap spray bottle or wipe it on with a rag. |
