I am just curious what the trick is to removing these pins from the mount. I bought new sun visors and need to get the old arms out.

Drilling out the pins wont work, those things are hardened.
Take a small 1/64" bit and slowly remove some of the Aluminum material surrounding the roll pins. Not too much. This will loosen the pins enough to remove with a pair of needle nosed pliers. |

| Just revisiting this topic. I saw that Chucks sells restored rear view mirrors with new rods. Is there a way to get the new visors on an old rod attached to the mirror? |
