| I replaced my OEM grab handle because the rubber had shrunk. I have tried 2 from empi. Both junk. I twisted off the stud on the first one because it was plastic. I tried a second one and my wife broke it today when she pushed down on it getting out of the car. Any suggestions? |

The original one from '66 had shrunk on the left side and I was able to fix it pretty good. I took JB weld and filled in the shrunken area. I then sanded it smooth and then painted it. You can't tell at all unless you really get close with a magnifying glass.

I recently installed a new grab handle form WW and it's been holding up very well.
