What is the correct torque for the generator stand studs? |

Not much , I have never used a torque wrench there, just snugged them down with a wrench. |

They're M8 studs and the standard torque is 14ft-lbs. |

Those M8 case nuts typically tighten to 14 ft/lbs you can use VW curved spring Washers or flat washers and new self locking nuts. A thin film of case sealer on every side of the gaskets and the splash blocker to the stand will avoid any oil leak.

Yes, there's paper gaskets that goes on both sides. |

Some baffle plates comes with a gasket allready in place. So it depends on how yours looks. If it's pure alloy, use a paper gasket on both sides. If there's already a paper gasket bonded to it, you're good to go. :) |
