Thinking of a week long coastal road trip from Ocean City/ Assateague Island, along/ under the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, through the Outer Banks to Howards Pub in Ocracoke, www.howardspub.com then catching the ferry to Swan Quarter and driving north through Alligator River NWR back to Ocean City. I've done the trip a few times but never in a VW bus and either driven all the way south to Florida or done a complete 180' or taken 95 back to DC.
Anyone interested in tagging along?
Or advise on campgrounds/ good burger joints/ crab houses etc?
Thinking of May/ June 2015 (my bus is still in restoration stage but planning on it being ready in April '15 ) ;)
