They are small 12 volt bayonet with two long prongs that you push down and turn clock wise . I robbed one from the clock to use in the turn signal id lamp . After I installed the speedo I repaired the clock started working again after 11 years. I repaired it once because the part that swings was loose . |

I think you can get them from CIP, J-bugs, Wolfsburg West, and Airhead Parts/KGPR too. They're a standard VW sized bulb that most VW shops have, or can get. :D |

ive been replacing mine with L.E.D's because I wanted blue gauges. The price was maybe 20 cents more then a regular bulb |
