I am working a 30 PICT-2 for a non VW application and I am going to remove the electric choke system and make it work with the choke cable that is in place.
I want to remove this lever because its ugly...
what does it do? Thanks for any help.

| I think that's the arm used for the altitude compensator / decel valve thingy. |

| Don't know about altitude compensation, it looks like the lever that pushed the throttle open under deceleration as part of emissions control. |
