Guys
Can anybody tell me what the numbers on the distributor vac can arms relate to please.
Do they provide identification ?
Reason for question is I have a few og cans which I'm trying to match up to a particular dizzy.

| And to provide a verbal answer, the numbers are an identification. Until the mid 1970's the Bosch vacuum canisters were fairly easy to tell apart based on shape. Later as they all started looking the same numbers started appearing on the pull arms. If you find an NOS early vacuum canister in the box (rare) those did have part numbers on the box. |
