You could just get a threaded coupler (M12x1.5 I think,) a jam nut, and add whatever your heart desires… That way you can unthread it to remove it when it feels sloppy from the extra length or you get sick of the look. ;) |

No problem, just check the thread size beforehand!
For what it's worth, shifter extensions should not be made so massive or off center that they create any force on the shift rod. This is like resting your hand on the shifter, and it will prematurely wear out some of the selector forks in your transaxle. Not fun. |
