Last week I found a cool device online that holds the back window door open a few inches. I cant find the link now.
Does anyone have a link to it?
Thanks |

Without negating that VW specialist suppliers do have products that we need, you can use a simple turnbuckle to achieve the same effect.
Buy one large enough so the hook fits over the stub on the floor, hook it into place, then lock the hatch into the eye. It cannot be removed unless someone was to take the time unscrew the turnbuckle all the way apart. Probably wouldn't happen while you're sleeping there!
Something like this, but it would be about 5 to 6 inches long. Works perfectly. And adjustable as well.

Another hardware store solution. 5/16 inch by about 9 inches.

I made one from plans published on the net. Admittedly much more work than either buying one from GW or using a turnbuckle, but it's another option
My blog post including the plans here

Likewise - no moving parts:
$0.70 at the hardware store or just see what you find in the garage...5 minutes, tops.
8) |
