I recently purchased an AS-21 case that has some machine work done that makes it a good build platform. It is used and want to confirm that the standard bore will NOT need a line bore. I can use a bore gauge but need to know the dimensions of a standard bore. Thanks.

It's in the Bentley (and most other) service manuals, if you don't have one of those, it's in Without Guesswork:

The quickest way to tell if a case needs line bored is to look at the center main journal. If the bearing has left impressions in it and there is a ridge in the center that your finger nail catches on, It needs bored.

Also, bolt the case together empty, torque the middle 6 bolts, and then see if the center case saddle meets flush. (put a flashlight in there and look for an air gap) If it doesn't meet flush the case is warped and is suspect.
