| Excuse my ignorance but what exactly do the numbers -2,-1,0,+1,+2 mean that are stamped on cams? :lol: |

| IF you are talking about the stock cam gear then they refer to the size of the gear. VW is not flawless and they knew it, the cam to crank centerline distance can vary from case to case so VW had diffrent size cam gears. The biggest being +3 and the smallest being -3. You may be refering to something else but if that is what you mean this is the answer as I know it. Not sure what the exact size step is between each gear. |
