I know that the later vans have different rear side windows that have a vent built into them.
Can these windows go into an early Vanagon? Do the vents open manually?
Thx |

My 87 Syncro has different rear side windows than an 89 2wd tintop I recently looked at. Also, my left rear is diff from the right. It looks like a previous owner replaced the right rear sliding window with a solid one. Looks kinda lame with 2 sliding window on the left side & only 1 on the righ (on the door) |

'87- yes. I installed the black framed vented rear windows from a '91 into my '86

I am planning a project where I replace all of my window rubber and tint my side and rear windows at the same time, figuring I will get a better job if the windows are out when they're tinted. I'm thinking that would be a good time to add the vented rears to my '87. How hard are these puppies to come by? |
