Leaving head flow aside, are there any mechanical/thermal advantages in using single-port instead dual-port heads, and if so, how significant?
Thank you. |

Everyone I have spoken to about this (that knows) say that the SP's are a good choice if you want low end. with the right combo you can make a real powerhouse/stumpuller motor using them. I just finished building a new dual kad 1641cc SP for the baja, but I have yet to install so we will see how it goes as opposed to the 1679 DP I ran before.
I also noticed on my 71' bus (old 1600 sp) that it's just a cool running happy little motor. |

| some used single port intakes to fit the kads that I bought off samba awhile back. Right now I think thats the only way to get them. I think you still get AL ones new for baby dells and 34 icts. |
