Hi guys/gals. I have a 99 New Beetle and the low beam headlights seem very bright I keep getting flashed by other drivers to turn down the highs but they're not on. I have had the car since new with no accidents and have had the headlights adjusted but I am still getting flashed. Are these focused beam headlights this much brighter,or is this normal . How about it other New Beetle drivers you get the same thing or what.

used to have a 2001, the drivers side kept getting out of adjustment for some reason, an added prob with the headlights was leaks around the outer silicone seal letting moisture in and causing one headlight to seem brighter than the other...
