Has any one used adjustable pedals with a regular throttle cable? As in non-morose cable?
What have you done to overcome the cable issue? Even with a morose cable?
Need help please!

Easiest I have seen is I Had a quick disconnect throttle cable block installed that uses a hood pin style clip (not the proper name but it is 4:35AM so words are not going well) But it could easily be set up for just quick moving it a notch or something along those lines. not as precise as you would want probably or to the level of plug and play you were thinking but it works well. |

Orange, the cable issue would be the changing of distance from the pedal to the carb making the cable needing to be adjusted too.
Here's what I'm thinking....
Use a cable like this
http://www.appletreeauto.com/THROTTLE-CABLE-9-5509-12/
And drill a second hole in the end, then attach a flat bar with holes drilled in it that correspond with the different spots of the slider, then using the little "Y" throttle thing with a pin sticking out of it and the spring clip above I could slide the attachment point of the throttle without having to change the distance to the carb and having to adjust it there.
What are your guys thoughts? |
