:x i ordered some parts from [email protected] for a vert i had. way back in may i think cant remember that far back. found him on samba so watch out. a few of the parts arrived and he emailed me to let me know that one of them was not in stock and that he had to order it i can get the money back. i told him that i can wait because i needed the parts. a couple of months go by and i sent him out another email this time he said
"I havn't heard anything, If you would like I will send you your money back because it seems like they don't carry it any longer.
Thanks,
Mitch"

that was on october 14, 2003 and i have never heard from him again.
made me mad because he had realy good prices and he was realy quick on the shipping of the other parts. this may not seem like much but i just wanted to vent and thats what this forum for.

So did you ask for your money back? He sounds OK to me.

First class A HOLE! I wouldn't buy T T paper from him if I was covered POO POO! Big time LIAR! Stay away!

Criv Fri Jul 08, 2005 5:47 pm

I paid $165.00 for a bus decklid that he said was PERFECT...The lid arrived three weeks later by ups and is a piece of JUNK!!!...It looks like it has been run over by a truck....This guy is a scammer........BEWARE OF HIS STUFF......he is a liar!

CAVEAT EMPTOR!!! (BUYER BEWARE!!!)

I'm with you guys... beware of this guy... I ordered and promptly paid him for an ashtray for my 67 Deluxe 13 window bus. I never got it. When he failed to give me a tracking number after 3 requests, I knew something was wrong and sent him a demand for a refund.

To his credit, he did refund my money, but what an unnecessary waste of my precious time.

I posted this in another post about Mitch, but I wanted to be sure it was tied to his feedback from the classifieds. I would also run a search for Fuller in this forum before I bought anything from him.

Interesting. Mitch is offering a refund? That's very big of him.

Hey Mitch, can I get the refund you owe me for the rubber kit you ripped me off for as well?

Last year, Mitch shipped about 50 percent of a "full" rubber kit for my t3, made several excuses, then dropped off the face of the earth as soon as I called him on it.

I posted then, and detailed just exactly how he ripped me off, and after a long hiatus, I logged back in to see that he's up to his same old tricks.

So, Mitch, when you sell that "pristine" notch you have on the classifieds, you have about 10 people to reimburse with the proceeds.

In the end, I think Mitch means well, but is far too lazy to actually pull the trigger on the parts he advertises. Of course, he profits from his laziness, too.

Mitch is a liar, a jackass, and a scammer. No doubt, he's sending out Nigerian Oil scheme e-mails right now, or he'd have the nuts to respond.

first class ass-hole. i've delt with this guy and live in his area. he is notorious for scamming people and over over pricing parts while claiming there in much better condition than they actually are. he uses several different allias's because of his poor reputation. Put plainly, he his out to profit for himself and could care less who he screws over as long as he's a dollar richer. as claimed by someone else, i was also going to sell this guy a bus a few years ago. he came by, looked at it, told me what a piece of crap it was and said i i was ever considering giving it away to give him a call...... figures. My advice is not to deal with this guy in any way. don't buy or sell anything to him.. it just encourages him to rip off the next guy.... Have A NICE DAY!!!

No problems here.

Quick, easy, and painless and the item was flawless.

Thanks again.

I'm glad I didn't read all these bad reviews before dealing with Mitch.

I recently bought an "Oval" steering wheel from him:

He did not respond to his Email every day.
But I did get the Steering wheel when he said I would, and the condition was exactly as I saw in the picture... which was great.

I will do business with Mitch again.

Keep in mind: Typically for every bad review, there are 10 satisfied people. Very few people go out of their way to write about a good or "expected" experience, but if they experience delays or expectations are not met, they will write a bad review every time.

Thanks Mitch! :D

I just purchased a pedal splash pan from Mitch. It came in just as described and I am happy with it. True he isn't super speedy with return emails but he did respond to each one that I sent, be patient. Thanks again Mitch.

Just purchased a car from Mitch and his father. Was hooked up with a mechanic named James at Flinn Automotive to do an inspection of the car on my behalf. I live in another city but spoke to the "mechanic". Was completely mislead as to the mechanical condition of the car. Pissed off to say the very least. Mechanic was either completely incompetent, not a mechanic at all, or dishonest. Please all draw your own conclusions regarding the relationship of the owner and the mechanic. Sent a deposit based on glowing reviews. Got the car back home and discovered numerous, obvious mechanical issues. A few examples follow:
*Engine leaked oil worse than "normal", was missing key parts, had improperly fitting valve covers, and was considerably loud. Also, just two sometimes one cylinder working, hydro-carbons extremely high, not all fuel being burned - extremely rich. Even with work and $ won't pass inspection. Have to spring for a new, re-built engine.
*The play in the steering dangerous; needs a new steering box, cannot be adjusted.
*needs new front brake drums
*improperly torqued bolts in "new"rear brake sysyem, fluid leak, needs new shoes and drum
*Exposed wires; joins not capped/insulated
*right signal - front and back - issues. Needs a new steering wheel turn signal lever
*speedometer doesn't work
There is more.
I was told about none of these things. The mechanic had nothing bad to say.
Was lead to believe that the interior was beyond the regular/normal - the ad said so - and the pictures, taken at a distance, looked that way. Reality was that the new head liner installation was very disappointing and the carpet was cheap and ordinary once I saw the car in person.
I'll take the high road and forget the diatribe. My faith in people took another hit. That is a sad thing, seriously.
I will say that the body and underside has received high praise. Some, but little comfort.

I recently purchased (5) 15" smoothie wheels from him. he posted a picture with description on samba. i emailed him. he promptly responded. i paid him by pay pal. the items were shipped promptly. can't say I have any complaints, and honestly I think our transaction went very smooth.

Engine case I bought arrived in reasonable time, and will work just fine.

SKULL_MAn Mon Jan 30, 2012 11:45 am

Bought a brake kit. Exactly as in Add.
E-mail Response time is a little slow.
After having trouble with the package, i think it was dropped during shippment or customs have misplaced it, he has offered to help me with the brake pad that was missing from shipment.
He gets from me 9 of 10 points.
I will do bussiness anytime with him.

I have bought a set of bus 15's and they were exactly what what his add said. Super nice guy. I would buy from him again for sure.

I contacted Mitch to have him transport a 59 Bus from Utah to California. A+ transaction! I have dealt with flakey transport guys and this was by far my best experience.

Mitch was thorough with communication, courteous, and got the Bus here well before schedule. I would definitely contact Mitch and have him handle transport for me in a heartbeat. Every bit of my transaction was perfect.

If he is capable of getting my bus here, I would certainly expect that parts would have the same, if not better result.
