As title says, to install fog light or not. I have not seen the lights installed without the full overriders with gards and bows. I can get the overriders with no problem the gards and bows are almost impossible. So I am thinking of installing without the overriders.

Nice looking car. I like the look with the fog lights myself.

Do you drive in the fog? I am not into useless crap for looks sake or to just add stuff!!

This entire car is useless, Garage Queen / weekend warrior, going for looks. Not everybody's thing. :D

Fogs for me too... then again I run Bosch Type 3 only fogs on my Notch, so I'm biased!!

Looks better without.

Why spoil those nice crisp lines. Less is more.

That Notch is a beauty!

Make the fogs yellow and you have a sweet look!!!

Agreed. Looks better without them.
Maybe if you had the uprights in place, but you're running a bare blade on it.

Maybe period correct foglights. Maybe loose the bar too!

raygreenwood Sun Dec 28, 2014 2:49 pm

Make them driving lights instead of fog lights....something the car can actually use....and put them down below the bumper....then yes!

Also it depends on where you live. Having lived in the deep south before....I can tell you that when you need fog lights and dont have them it can suck.

Pencil beams down low can do nearly as well and help. Ray

I like the overriders on our bumpers & fog/driving lamps.

Personal preference - I like the look with fog lights. But from my experience, the fog lights are miserable to wash around. Your clean lines without fogs will be far easier to maintain and probably the best look for your very clean car.

Agreed agreed. Without the uprights it doesn't look correct to me. Your car has a clean look without them.

=D> Totally agree

Dang....lights are not about looks. You either need them or you dont. If you need them, install them where they work properly and screw the looks.

If you dont need them or dont use them or dont have the power to run them.....putting them on is stupid. Ray

I like the lights better than the bare blade.

My ranking, includes some options from others:
1. Lights + stock uprights
2. Lights, no uprights
3. Bare blade (don't like, looks like something is missing)

Other options:
Full stock with uprights, no lights (always nice)
Accessory overriders with/without lights is nice too.

ray get the up rights. i think that will make a diffrence.

I have been thinking of taking mine off. fog lights, not uprights haha
