| I am getting ready to paint my 77 Bug. I have a qt of Centari Acrylic enamel to paint the inside part of the doors, the jambs and the backside of the hood and engine lid. I will then, a few days later paint the outside of the car with single stage Urethane. My question is, if I have overspray from the door jamb areas on the outside of the body will I have a reaction when the Urethane is sprayed over it? Maybe I should get more Urethane to do the inside parts so I wont have a incompatability problem? Any help is appreciated! |

If you use a hardener in the Centari you will not have a reaction. If you do not use a hardener then you will need to sand the overspray off the outside before you paint. Another way is to mask the outside so you do not get any overspray on the outside.
If you have dry or rough overspray on the outside you will need to sand it smooth before you paint so you will have a smooth finish. |
