| i have dual 44 idf webers on my 1970 vw baja bug. The car will only start up and run only when i give it gas. as soon as i let off the gas the car immediately shuts off. does anybody know what might be causing this? also ive put in an electronic ignition and replaced and sealed the gaskets between the manifolds and the heads and from the manifold to the carburetor. |

You are probably better posting this question in the Performance Engine section.
That being said its probably your idle jets that are plugged. |
