Getting ready to order some BFG All terrain T/A KOs
Baja with 3" body lift, 5" widened front beam. 2 1/2 x 2/1/2 rear arms.
Stoce Baja Marathon rims
Will I notice a difference with 215/75 15 front and 235/75 15 rear tires??
Would like to have a slight difference in tire sizes. Or should I stick with same size?
Thanks

Next to picking the color, rims are tires are driving me nuts. Maybe Ford was right, paint it black.

Yes and no. It looks good though. I would say either stock wheels or BTR if you have wide 5.

Stock, lift spindles and rear index. Rears are 5.5" wide, front was 4" wide.

here is a pic of the Baja with 9.50x15 on all 4 wheels, I liked the way it looked but had clearance problems.

later I changed to 205/75/15 on same wheels. worked great on and off road, flat towing as well.

the bad thing is with staggered tire size no front to back swap to improve tire life.

Those tires are going to look small on a 5" wider beam. Is the rear stock? Stock trailing arms? If so, I'd find some 8" rims with a decent offset to match front track width somewhat, wrap them in 30x 9 1/2s put some 7- x15's on the front and be done with it. But that's just my opinion.

I like this the best!

What was your front rim width?

You can easily put 205-15s on stock VW 15x4 rims. Although some major chain tire shops will not mount them as it is out of their norm. But if my Baja (and a great many others) can have 7.00-15s on 3.5" wide Centerlines, and racers can use 35 x 10.50-15 BFG tires on 15 x 4 wheels, then putting 205s on stock wheels is no issue. If the major chain stores don't want your $$, then so be it. You can get it done elsewhere.
