| The decklid mount on my 65 bug is tearing away from the body. It is torn from when the hinge thing mounts to the body closest to the firewall. What should I do? My decklid is getting messed up from the movement. |

| If the hinge is tearing out of your bug you might have to weld it, or a piece of sheet metal, to the torn site. Then you can attach the hinge to the repaired spot. |

| I'd go to a vw shop before I'd go to a body shop, that is if you don't know anyone who has a welder. |
