Aren't the crankshaft bearings supposed to have two thrust halves? I'm not quite sure why mine came out with only one thrust half, the other is a regular bearing.

Hmm... nevermind, I looked for replacements and apparently they come like that :oops:

Those are camshaft bearings, not crankshaft bearings. And no, that's how they come. If you want, you can buy another set and use the thrust out of the other set, just file off the tab.

Thanks, I meant cam...my fingers type faster than my brain :oops:

I just thought it was weird that it would only have the thrust on one side of the engine case but apparently that's normal. I'm just going to order a new standard set anyway.

Any real difference between the Brazilian and the KS ones besides about 10 bucks?

If you're using a straight cut cam gear you don't need it.....kind of over engineering
