after finishing up the hard stuff on my engine work, i got to some wire clean up in the fuse box and found that the big wire that goes under the driver's seat, right next to the brake fluid resevoir in my 1977, was unconnected. i tried to trace this guy but he went under the wooden paneling in the spare tire compartment and i gave up. my sink pump works so i am wondering if maybe its for the fridge.

and i am dismayed at how fast this beach air gets to my bare metal. the towel that i was using on rusted hubcaps is not enough-- need something a little stronger. is steel wool too strong, or is there a better solution.

ratwell, i will get the foto of that plug 4 piece to you soon, need to get computer/camera issues straightened out. and i like the looks of your german fuel tool. where can i get my hands on one...

happy weekend motoring

That's the wire for the sink water pump switch. Sounds like you've got PO gremlins in your bus still.

"00" or "0000" steel wool is safe to use to shine chrome hubcaps.

Thanks. Search google for Stahlwille SF12975. If you appreciate a good tool it will make you happy. www.mototools.com had the best price last time I checked. Just to let you know there are cheaper alternative from OTC and Lisle dealers.

OTC 4056
