| Can I use this on a 71 Bus? Take just the bumper but use my 71 rear brackets? I'm assuming VW didn't re-engineer the entire bumper, just the brackets, to fit onto the pancake engine. Am I right? |

| bus depot sells the same rear bumper for 71 and 72 so i assume that they are the same.... |

The part numbers seem to indicate so. The 72 brackets were one year only but the bumper seems to be the same. |
