May 16th......

Wolfsburg's Wickedest and Shady Lawn Farms Present...

The Oakdale Spring Show and Swap

Located at Shady Lawn Farms just outside of the Oakdale aporx. 1.5 miles from town at 6255 River rd. The name says it all for this place it is a truly a beautiful setting we will hopefully have all anemities (food,beer,d.j.). This will be as judged show with a sponsors choice award and a unknown amount of judged awards. We chose May 16th because may is a real dead month for nor-cal shows and we wanted to have a kick back with all of the VW people of nor-cal Wickedest Style...

8$ car&driver
1$ per head (sorry its private property but includes parking of non vw)
10$ for nice sized swap spot

Proceeds bieng donated to the Blue Star Moms of Stanislaus County to help continue in their effort to support our troops in the middle east.

I think I have to work that weekend :cry: , but would be more than happy to get the word out to our club. I'm sure there will be lots of interest!

Any idea on the show classes?

not sure yet VWswap we want to keep it small i am thinking about a few overall trophies (no ww cars) and a peoples choice award...

Mike, i'll e-mail you when we know what time and where we are meeting to caravan. it probably won't be until mid to late april that we have all that in place though.

Im from Mo town, been to oakdale about a million times. But where is the show? Outside of the city more in the direction of the hills?

Heck, getting to Oakdale is easy! Just try to go to Yosemite and not get there! ;) Too bad we're not rockin' Escalon while we're at it. :lol:

Okay, I kinda know where you're talkin' about. You know whatcha need? One of them Yahoo maps with the location marked on it so we can get out our vintage maps and find it. ;)

i will have flyers at the columbia get together, kelley and madera hopefully with maps on them but any ways if you head east on hwy 120 (in manteca from 99 or I-5) as you are getting close to oakdale there is a stoplight just before you come to town (river rd.) take a right and it's about 1.5 miles on your right. if you are coming from the hills (west bound 120 travel through oakdale take a right at the main stoplight (right is hwy 120 going straight is hwy 108 going to modesto) continue a few miles go over the river and river rd. is the stoplight you will take a left at or go here....
