put new wheel bearings in and new seals in.
used the thin brown permatex sealer on gaskets.
used one gasket and put back together. next day saw a puddle under axle. car still on jack stands. i did both sides and pass side dose not leak.
any idea what to look at to solve the leak? |

are the drums tightened down? they need to be to seal.
did you install the spacer in the seal and carrier and THEN put it on the shaft? i made this mistake and when i took it apart found i'f folded the seal by accident |

no i put the spacer on the shaft then slid the seal on over the shaft and seal.
i folded the seal and caused it to leak.
went back and watched the bug me video on transmission replace. he placed the spacer in the seal then onto the shaft. |
