Need help confirming a part number for a late model bus. I found a bumper I wish to purchase but I want to make sure its a valid part number first. The Part number I was told that was found was 271 070 741 however I am unfamiliar with what resources I can search part numbers to confirm this is an actual VW or ZVW part. Can anyone give me a place to start?

Most of the time I punch the part # into Google and see what comes up.

271 070 741 looks like a VW part # format but does not look valid to me as a bumper part #.

Are you sure it's not 271 707 041?
That looks to be a front bumper part # in my Bay Window parts book

I see it listed here too

This is great except for the fact they remove any part # for something that is not available.

For instance, my corrected part # above is not there.

Not trying to put down what you posted as that is very useful, just pointing out it unfortunately has some limitations.
