Can anyone tell me how to replace the fuel line on a '63 coupe and still have it go through the tunnel?

You'll have to cut into the tunnel, as there are clips which support the fuel line. These clips must be bent to remove the old line.

Thanks for the info! Any idea where the holes need to be cut? Or is it a better idea to just run the fuel line under the pan along the channel?

The Bentley manual shows where and how to cut. Then you need to snake the line thru and weld up the mess you just made-- it can be done, but most people just run it through on the inside and forget it.

If you choose not to run it through the tunnel, make sure you run it along the tunnel on the INSIDE of the car. If you leave it underneath,it can rupture if it gets hit by a rock, or a childs bicycle or something--
