1975 super beetle
with no carbs
no coil
No Body Rust
NO CARPET INTERIOR THRASHED

HOW MUCH WOULD YOU PAY AND HOW CAN I CHECK IF HE ENGINE IS ANY GOOD? 8)

Take a battery with you, pull the plugs, make sure it's got oil in it, and do a compression check. That's the one single thing that will tell you the health of the engine. If it's got good compression it should run. The rest of running involves air, fuel, and spark, all of which are easily taken care of later.

Has it been sitting long? If so, do a search and find out how to prime the oil system before you trying turning it over to do the compression check. If you decide to buy it and it's been sitting for awhile you'll also have to drain the old gas and put fresh gas in it before trying to start it. Good luck!

i bought me another 73 super the other day, that had a coil and carb and still only paid$250, no rust, all surface rust had been repaired, just no interior
