| I know this is an old subject, but I just saw more Things on TV in one day than I ever have. On 2/14/04, Speed II was on Telemundo (I don't speak Spanish and Speed II sucks, but a Thing was on TV, so I watched for a while). Then there was a really bad chick flick with Reese Witherspoon on TNT or something. The only Witherspoon I'll usually watch is John Witherspoon, but half the movie took place inside a gray '74, and there was lots of good Thing shots. Plus, every commercial break showed the commercial for that Adam Sandler movie w/ the Yellow Thing spraypainted with fake rust. All in all, this Valentines Day was a good one for "Thing Awareness." I had to tell some people who might appreciate that, cuz my girlfriend sure as hell didn't... |

| I got hooked on Things when i was a kid because of a TV show. back in the early 70s, there was a television show on the canadian CTV channel called "George" about the adventures of a St. Bernard dog in Switzerland. George's owner drove a 181. |

When I told my co workers that I owned a Thing they said "That's the Moesha car!" So, the 90's TV show Moesha had one too.
