What's the concensus on single stage paint?
First priority is the most bang for the buck followed by ease of use and avalibilty.

| omni by ppg is pretty cheap. you can get a gallon for around 100 bucks. not sure what you mean by ease of use, but it should be readily available at any ppg dealer. also, here is a link for cross referencing vw to ppg paint codes. www.vintagebus.com/techinfo/ppg.html |

| If the color you choose is a solid then ok, but I prefer a basecoat/clearcoat. If you choose a metallic paint ,then base/clear is the way to go. |

Yeah I was going for either gulf blue or blood orange. I need some Texas Yellow for my super too...
