Does anyone out there have a right side Hot Air Tube they would be willing to sell? I have a 78 westy and it has a butchered tube that was cut, taped, and clamped together with peices of flexi metal tubing. The flexi tube tore so my air was leaving the system before it ever hit the heat excahnger. I think the part is 021-256-332B. I've checked many of the usual web stores but no luck. Thanks!

I think he means the metal tube that connects the 75-78 heater boxes to the plastic tube that snakes under the air intake.

That part is NLA. You'll have to find a used one or a NOS one form the usual sources (Samba, bustedbus, thebusco, eBay).

Maybe I'm incorrect on the part or description. The piece I'm looking for is the plastic tube that connects to the right fresh air hose and snakes down throught the engine comparment to connect to the heat exchanger. I know it sounds strange that the Hot air tube would connect to the fresh air hose but that what it looks like on this site (bottom of the page)

Am I looking at the correct piece?

You want the piece that connects F and D together? This item: 211 261 233 . BD has that for $34. I just gave one away last week. $5 or less at the junkyard.

Oh we are so close. I apologize for the confusion. I went back out to the garage to take a second look. The piece in the photo is what I have. Should that piece connect directly to the Heat exchanger or is there another piece of tube that goes between the two?

If that piece connects directly to the HE, then I have some misalignment problems. Cause I had two pieces of cut off plastic tube and metal flexi tube between the part in your photo and the HE. Thanks

So like D in the photo there is a piece between the plastic piece and the heater boxes. Unlike the photo which only shows one item for both side, the piece you need it basically a straight piece of tube. It's held to the heater boxes with a bolt just below the alternator (I was just checking all of the seals last night in the garage). Like this:

AHHHH Its a metal tube! Ratwell you were correct on your first reply. I thought that it would have been plastic since that is what had been rigged up and appeared to match the HE entry point. So am I right in my original post about the part #?

Thanks for hanging in there with me, your photo really helped.

I have that metal tube, if you still need it.

I have lots of parts and pieces.......

According to Jim Thompson's website, yes. Correction:

That part is NLA. You'll have to find a used one or a NOS one from the usual sources (Samba, bustedbus, thebusco, eBay, Karl).
