Hey all,
Just picked up 1600dp block and heads, there painted yellow, looking for suggestions on best way to remove the paint. |

| How bout a pressure washer? If I used that I would do an oil change after in case some water found its way in. |

Use any kind of methylene chloride based paint/aircraft stripper. Take it to the carwash and paint it with the stripper. Scrub with a brush and or scotch brite pad lightlym let sit 10 minutes. The first rinse low pressure then high pressure. It should just slough off.
Be sure you wear goggle and very good gloves....not cheap latex.....it will eat those under a minute.
Rinse very well. The stripper will eat every surface in your car. Ray |
