Do you do your final wet sanding before paint after the final blocking or do you respray a final coat of primer over that and wet sand.

I don't wet sand. I block down to 600 , degrease and spray.

Depends on what you last blocked it with. If there is enough material left on it, and you dry sanded with 220 grit or finer, then you can wet sand it with 400-600 then paint. If you dry sanded with 220 grit and you are already thin or through the primer that is there you can spray some final primer on and wetsand that with 400-600.

Well I use a lot of high build and I am a terrible painter so I start out more aggressively but do finish with 600 dry.

Depending on how bad my high build is I might go with some 320 using as long of a block as I can to knock down the texture, then some guide coat and maybe go 400 and finish with 600.

220, 400, 600 dry is what I'm doing on my project.

Screw that! I dont even like using 320 dry. Just clogs too easy/fast. I would do 220 dry, guide coat and then 400 wet. Or 220 dry, then a couple coats of final prime and 400 wet.
