hello,
I am the proud owner of a 1973 bay window bus. The problem is that this vehicle needs a good amount of welding/body panel replacement. I have done small welds on lawn/yard equipment, bicycles, tools, etc. but nothing as large as auto-body panels. I am not afraid to tackle this work, just need some recommendations. I am already removing all parts in order to perform a full restoration to previous glory. My question then is, should I strip the entire vehicle to find all the problem areas? If stripping the entire vehicle is the direction, what should be done to keep the bare metal from corroding? |
