I recently removed mine and did it by cutting the stand off on the vertical part of the arm. This gave me access to drill out the spit welds attaching the bottom to the tray. If you're trying to keep it in once piece you could drill it out from below if you have the body off the frame.
There's about 6 to 8 spot welds holding mine on kind of randomly arranged, so finding them all is the trick. |
