| I'm looking for the reason that my clutch is droping the springs? The metal fingers that stick out in the center. I replaced my clutch last year when it was having problems shifting, problem fixed. Now fast forward to las month, same problem, the clutch does not completely disengage. I tried to adjust the cable but it just makes it worse. Any thoughts would be great. |

| DUh, I just got a little anxious at posting and did'nt look far enough back in here to find that someone else was having the same sort of problem. Still, if anyone has helpfull hints I would be forever in their debt. |

I'm not quite getting the visual on " dropping the springs".
Are they getting mangled? as in getting pushed too far in?
Is this an early style pressure plate with the ring on the pressure plate with the floating release bearing, or is it the later diaphram style with the release bearing located by the guide collar in the bell housing?
What year is your transmission and engine?
