i have seen tall maifolds for 48ida and short ones. what is the magic in manifolds?????and the differneces in tall and short style?

If I tried to explain the whole thing, it would be a research paper long.
here is the meat of it. Long manifolds act as reservoir for fuel charge to go into the chamber...too long however will condense the fuel charge. You want a completely emulsified mixture of fuel to burn properly and fully. Short manifolds will hold a more emulsified fuel charge...but will not have the full benefit of a long reservoir effect. You want to find the balance between the two. When you do find it, give me call. I surely would like to know.
